Version 1.1 (preliminary) · effective 2026-10-24
Tickingora Terms of Service
1. General provisions
- These Terms govern the use of the Tickingora website available at https://dev.tickingora.com (the “Service”) and the provision of electronic services, in accordance with the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Services by Electronic Means.
- The Service is provided by sixt4 sp. z o.o., registered office: ul. 1 Sierpnia 53/34, 02-134 Warszawa, Poland, Tax ID (NIP) 522-323-02-60, National Court Register (KRS) 0000980872, e-mail: biuro@sixt4.pl (the “Provider”).
- A User is a natural person, legal person or organisational unit that has created an account in the Service (the “User”). A natural person using the Service must have full legal capacity.
- Creating an account requires accepting these Terms and reading the Privacy Policy.
2. Test version
- The Service is provided as a test (development) version. Its features, limits and appearance may change without notice, and individual features may be switched off.
- The Provider does not guarantee any service level (SLA). The Service may be interrupted, including due to maintenance, failures or the end of testing.
- Data stored in the Service (monitor configuration, run history, incidents) may be lost or deleted, in particular during technical changes or at the end of the test version. Users should keep their own copy of important settings.
- Using the test version of the Service is free of charge.
3. Scope of services
- In particular, the Service allows:
- Heartbeat monitoring — waiting for a signal (an HTTP GET request to a unique URL) within defined time windows;
- HTTP Check monitoring — the Service sends scheduled HTTP GET requests to a public HTTPS address indicated by the User and evaluates the response;
- recording run and incident history and sending e-mail notifications about failures and recoveries.
- Features and limits (e.g. number of monitors, frequency, history retention) are described in the Service and may change during testing.
- Monitoring results depend on factors beyond the Provider's control (e.g. the Internet, e-mail providers, the configuration of the User's systems). The absence of an alert does not mean that the monitored system works correctly.
4. Technical requirements
Using the Service requires a device with Internet access, an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and an active e-mail address. Monitored jobs must be able to send HTTPS requests to the Service (Heartbeat), and monitored services must be publicly reachable over HTTPS (HTTP Check).
5. Account
- The service agreement is concluded when the account is created and is concluded for an indefinite period.
- The User provides true data and confirms the e-mail address. The User is responsible for keeping confidential the password, the secret Heartbeat URLs and any credentials (e.g.
Authorizationheaders, API keys) entered into the Service. - For HTTP Checks we recommend dedicated keys with minimal permissions, used only for availability checks.
- By adding an extra notification e-mail address, the User confirms that its owner agrees to receive notifications. Notifications are sent to that address only after its owner confirms it.
6. Acceptable use
- The Service must not be used contrary to the law, good practice or these Terms, in particular:
- monitoring systems the User is not authorised to monitor, or using HTTP Checks for scanning, load testing, attacks or bypassing security measures;
- attempting to access internal networks or resources of the Provider or third parties;
- circumventing limits, including by creating multiple accounts or generating an excessive number of requests;
- providing unlawful content.
- In the event of a breach of these Terms or a threat to the security of the Service, the Provider may pause monitors, block or delete the account.
7. No warranty and liability
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. The Provider gives no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to availability, uninterrupted operation, timeliness and effectiveness of failure detection, delivery of notifications, fitness for a particular purpose or preservation of data.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service, in particular for undetected failures, missing or delayed alerts, false alerts, interruptions, data loss or lost profits.
- Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law (including for damage caused intentionally), or consumer rights under such law.
8. Complaints
- Complaints about the Service may be sent to biuro@sixt4.pl, stating the account e-mail address and a description of the problem.
- The Provider handles complaints within 14 days of receipt and replies to the sender's e-mail address.
9. Termination
- The User may terminate the agreement at any time, without giving reasons and free of charge, by requesting account deletion at biuro@sixt4.pl. A User who is a consumer may also withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of its conclusion without giving reasons.
- The Provider may terminate the agreement with 7 days' notice sent by e-mail, in particular when the test version ends. In the cases referred to in section 6(2), the agreement may be terminated with immediate effect.
10. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes and final provisions
- The Provider may amend these Terms, in particular as the Service develops or the law changes. Users will be informed by e-mail or in the Service at least 7 days before the changes take effect. A User who does not accept the changes may terminate the agreement.
- These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes with Users who are not consumers are settled by the court competent for the Provider's registered office. Consumers may use the court competent under general rules and out-of-court dispute resolution.
- These Terms are also available in Polish; in case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.
